Our advice, whenever you are booking a holiday, is to shop around. There are fantastic deals to be found, and the choice is the name of the game.
Although there are some last minute bargains on offer, these are not the usual nowadays, and too often those waiting to the last minute can come up empty handed, and either forego their holiday or paying over the odds for one.
The reason for this is that holiday companies and chartered flight operators today sell the cheapest places or seats first and thereby cover their costs and profit margins well in advance. This enables them to sell vacant seats and places later on at inflated prices.
This practice means that if you book well in advance, you are likely to save yourself not only stress, but a lot of money too.
